Opening hours: shops are generally open Monday to Friday from 8.30-9.00 to 18.30-19.00 and on Saturdays until 17.30-18.00. There are late-night openings on Thursdays.
At Cornavin station, Eaux-Vives station and the airport, you’ll find shops open 7/7.
The 2 main supermarket chains are MIGROS (does not sell alcohol nor cigarettes) and COOP.

Shopping areas and centers
Geneva shopping opportunities are concentrated in the “lower streets” (at the foot of the Old Town): around the Rue du Rhône (luxury shops), and in the Rue de la Confédération, Rue du Marché and Rue de la Croix-d’Or.
